McClinton- Born: 1785 in Killyleagh,
County Down, N. Ireland. We do not have a date of death. Samuel was
married about 1808, in Killyleagh, N. Ireland to Margaret Torney. Margaret
was born in 1787, Killyleagh, N. Ireland and died in Newtownards, County
Down, N. Ireland. Samuel and Margaret had eight children. For more

McClinton- Born: February 2,1822 in County Down, N. Ireland. Died:
1917 in Nepean Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada. Peter was
married in Ontario to Mary
Faulkner- Born: 1816 Died: 1911. Peter and Mary had six
children.

McClinton was born in Nepean Township, Carleton County, Ontario,
April 16,1869. Died November 13,1952 in Smith's Falls, Ontario. Joshua
was married March 13,1895 in Gloucester Township to Eliza Jane Hawkins,
born: October 6,1875 and died December 28,1933. Together they had seven
children and lived in the Richmond, Ontario. For more information about

McLinton was born to Mr. &
Mrs. Joshua James McLinton, August 8, 1900. "Lemmy" is our grandfather.
David Lemuel was married October 29, 1924 to Mary Ann McCoy, born
January 19,1900 and she passed away in 1942. David Lemuel and Mary Ann
were married in the Methodist Church by E. Richard Kelly. Lemmy and
Mary Ann had four sons. Their names are Russell, (private),
(private) and Lorne. "Lemmy" passed away in August, 1990. They are
both buried at St.Paul's United/Old Methodist Cemetery in Richmond,
Ontario.

Special Note: David Lemuel McLinton remarried December 24, 1944, to Margaret Pearl Dubroy,
born: December 13,1903. David and Pearl were married by Rev. H.J.
Radley, in Richmond, Ontario. (Catholic). Pearl's parents were, Moise Dubroy and Ellen Maguire.
Pearl was the only grandmother we knew, while growing up and she passed
away October 8, 1974. She also had a brother, Anthony Russell Dubroy,
born: 1894 and died: October 14, 1971.

Andrew Joshua Russell McLinton
was born in Richmond, Ontario, July
19,1926 and passed away in Ashton, Ontario, June 7, 1989. He is the
eldest son of David Lemuel and Mary Ann McLinton and is survived by
his
wife, three children and four grandchildren.Russell is buried at St.
Paul's United/
Old Methodist Cemetery in Richmond,
Ontario.
Lorne Frederick McLinton
was born in Richmond, Ontario, October 7,
1934 and passed away in Bedford Twsp. July 3, 1969. Lorne was the
youngest son to David Lemuel and Mary Ann McLinton and he is survived
by his wife, three children, six grandchildren and one great
grandchild. Lorne was a police officer with the Belleville, Ontario,
Police Department before his death.
